There was a time in my life when I didn't know what I wanted to do with myself. I had no direction and no idea where to go. All I knew was that I wanted to find myself and be happy, because I didn't know if I would find happiness anywhere else. It was the song "You Don't Need Anyone To Live A Full Life", by Aaron Carter. The words of that song really resonated with me. I thought that if anyone could relate to that song, it would be me.
So, for the next few weeks, whenever I would get frustrated and feel like giving up on myself and about everything, I would listen to that song and think about how easy it is to find yourself and how important it is not to need anyone else's approval or approval of your choices in order for you to be happy. After all, you don't need anyone but yourself.
